Approx. 30" x 36. NO holes or rips or repairs.... looks like it sat in water once ..... esp. noticable on the reverse side about 1.5" up from the bottom. Awesome painting ! incredible design ! I think RED PAINTINGS were in vogue in 1964 for whatever reason..... love this impressionistic portrait ! Doesn't this look like it could be the portrait of an early drag queen ? Is this associated with the Greek Goddess Naomi? This figure looks feminine but appears also to have a mustache ? Don't know.... a lot of theories. From an estate sale a few years ago.... We know that it is signed by the artists ANDRE and dated 1964 and that the title of the painting on the back is NIOBIE and that it was originally $200 back in 1964 !
